General Support of the Hamilton School for Classical and Civic Education at the University of Florida.

Research Support of the Hamilton Center for Classical and Civic Education at the University of Florida.
Kenneth C Griffin Endowed Fellowship
Support PhD candidates at the School. Each fiscal year, expendable income from the Fellowship Endowment shall be used to provide merit based support to no more than three (3) PhD candidates at the School, selected in accordance with the criteria set forth in subparagraph 3.c (each such candidate a “Fellowship Recipient”). As used in the preceding sentence, “support” with respect to a Fellowship Recipient shall mean payment of all or a portion of a Fellowship Recipient’s costs in obtaining a PhD, including but not limited to tuition, living expenses, health insurance, faculty mentorship, dissertation support and support for research and conference travel, in each case payable either as direct aid to the Fellowship Recipient or to fund an assistantship for student employment of the Fellowship Recipient, and in each case for so long as the Fellowship Recipient satisfies the criteria set forth in subparagraph 3.c,
Kenneth C Griffin Endowed Scholarship
To support undergraduate students at the Hamilton School.Each fiscal year, expendable income from the Scholarship Endowment shall be used to provide support to one (1) or more undergraduate students within the School selected in accordance with the criteria set forth in subparagraph 3.c (each such student a “Scholarship Recipient”). As used in the preceding sentence, “support” with respect to a Scholarship Recipient shall mean payment of all or a portion of a Scholarship Recipient’s expenses in connection with attending the University as an undergraduate student, including but not limited to instate tuition, room and board, books and fees, and faculty-led research, study abroad and experiential learning opportunities and professional development stipends for summer internships for so long as the Scholarship Recipient satisfies the criteria set forth in subparagraph 3.c, not to exceed a period of four
Laura and Tommy McBride Society of Fellows Fund
Non-endowed fund for undergraduate student support restricted to the Hamilton School for Classical & Civic Education, Society of Fellows Program
Additional Criteria: To be awarded on the basis of merit, as determined by the Director. Recipients of this award shall be referred to as " McBride Scholars."
Nicole and Matthew Mascera Endowed Fund in Jewish Thought
The purpose of this endowment is to support teaching and scholarship on Jewish texts, ideas, and their influence on Western and American political thought in order to advance rigorous education and public understanding that meaningfully contributes to combating antisemitism. Spendable income for general support restricted to the Hamilton School for Classical & Civic Education, Robert M. Beren Program on Jewish Classical Education. General support may include a flexible portfolio of high-impact academic and educational activities, including: Curricular Development, Faculty and Student Research, Public Programming, Study Abroad program and Student Formation, and Mentorship.
