Purpose
Spendable income for scholarships restricted to the College of Agricultural and LifeSciences (CALS), School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences within the UF Institute of Food & Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS). Recipients must be pursuing a major in Geomatics and be residents of the State of Florida for tuition purposes. First preference shall be given to students who graduated from a high school in Polk County. If no eligible student from Polk County is available, second preference shall be given to students who graduated from a high school in Hillsborough County. If no eligible student from Polk County or Hillsborough County is available, third preference shall be given to students who graduated from a high school in Hardee, Highlands, Lake, Manatee, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Pasco, or Sumter Counties. Eligible students must be classified as sophomores or juniors and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
