Purpose
To be used to support a fellowship in the Department of Surgery, under the direction of Dr. Mindaugas Rackauskas and/or his successor in the division of thoracic surgery. the recipient shall be selected and appointed in accordance with University policies and hold the rank required for the position by the University, and expenditures shall comply with University and Foundation requirements. The new fellowship is pending approval of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) process and departmental standards.
