Purpose
Non-endowed fund restricted to the Institute of Food & Agricultural Sciences; School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences; Hickory Sink Forest Ecosystem Restoration project, as determined by the Director. Additional Criteria: Fund will support restoration of the Hickory Sink Forest ecosystem in Alachua County, including but not limited to full-time staffing and equipment, vehicles and related equipment, and external/specialized contractors for tasks requiring heavy equipment, herbicide application, and high-risk prescribed burns.
