Fund Purpose: Spendable income for need-based scholarships restricted to the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program Additional Criteria: May be awarded to students studying in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, College of Journalism & Communications, College of Health & Human Performance, College of Pharmacy, College of Education, or College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. Fund Purpose Contingency: If the MFOS Program ceases to exist at the University, then the spendable income shall be used to support scholarship awards to first generation undergraduate students with low family incomes.
