Fund Purpose
Spendable income for research restricted to the College of Medicine, department of Pediatrics, Division of Hematology & Oncology Additional Criteria: To support pediatric cancer research, If the matching gift is received and the gift then reaches the level required for a Rising Star Professorship, then the fund name will be changed to the "Jim and Marilyn Islam/Lyrics for Life Rising Star Professorship." The recipient will be an associate or assistant professor and shall be selected and appointed in accordance with University policies and requirements. Expenditures shall comply with University and Foundation requirements. Fund Purpose Contingency: If the matching gift is received but the Gift does not meet the then-current minimum amount required to establish a rising star professorship, then the fund name will be to the "Jim and Marilyn Islam/Lyrics for Life Fund for Pediatric Cancer Research.:
