Purpose
Support a research nurse and/or to support related research activities at the University of Florida. Expected outcomes of research activities to be funded by Donor through this Deed: (1) sponsorship of a 2-day, multidisciplinary, in person, state of the science conference for researchers working in the science and best practices for initiation of lactation and secretory activation and (2) improving long-term breast feeding outcomes by improving achievement of both secretory activation and a threshold volume by postpartum day 14, thus optimizing lactation success.

Ellen Granberg Eells Excellence Scholarship Fund in Nursing
Support need-based scholarship awards to undergraduate students in the College of Nursing. Recipients are chosen with preference in the following order: (1) residents of Brevard County, or those with recommendation from UF Alumni in the county; (2) residents of Suwanee County, or those with recommendation from UF Alumni in the county.
Arlene P. McKitrick Scholarship
Award scholarships, renewable for up to four years of study in the College of Nursing. Recipients may be either undergraduate or graduate students. Renewal is preferred until recipient graduates, becomes ineligible to receive scholarship or reaches the maximum of four years on this scholarship.
