Aortic Disease Center Endowed Professorship

Support junior investigators with the talents and inclinations to pursue a career of scientific discovery; to be comprised of junior faculty, post doctoral or clinical fellows and/or medical students. Income will provide salary support for up to two years to promising postdoctoral or clinical fellows who will work with junior or established faculty members on research projects. Part of the income will provide stipends for several students per year who select one or both of these research programs. This fund will thus provide the opportunity for additional medical students to engage in research who might otherwise not have this opportunity.

Support scholarships for College of Medicine; based on scholastic merit & personal standards during first year of medical school.

Support research in colon cancer.
