2 Lt. Michael E. McGahan Memorial Scholarship/Fellowship
Support undergraduate scholarships and/or graduate fellowships to deserving students in the Department of History (or Political Science if no History student qualifies) at the College for a period in which they are participating in a study abroad program, or for graduate students, during a time when they are researching abroad; preference is to be given to students focusing on International Relations or International Politics.
Samuel S. Hill Chair in Christian Ethics
Support a chaired professorship in Christian ethics in the Department of Religion; professorship is to be filled by a new permanent faculty member and shall not be used as a term professorship; selected candidate will have a strong interest in teaching ethics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; if this chaired professorship is not filled after a period of 5 years, the donor reserves the right to transfer the gift to another college.
