Purpose
Support scholarship awards to students in the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars (MFOS) Program, in the following order of priority: first to students who graduated from Miami Carol City Senior High School in Miami Gardens and are majoring in engineering, second to students who graduated from Miami Carol City Senior High School, and third to students who graduated from high schools in Miami-Dade or Broward counties. If the MFOS Program ceases to exist at the University, then the spendable income shall be used to support scholarship awards to first generation undergraduate students with low family incomes.
