If any significant changes take place during the use of this fund such as the departure of a fellow prior to his/her/they completion of the fellowship or any other issue that makes the execution of the fellowship not possible, please notify the donor in a timely manner.

Support teaching, research and academic programs in Neurology.

Support the Joan Islam Rising Star Professorship in the Department of Neonatology. The recipient will be an associate or assistant professor and shall be selected and appointed in accordance with University policies and hold the rank required for the position by the University. Expenditures shall comply with University and Foundation requirements.
