Fund forensic postmortem examinations and any costs associated with ancillary testing of dogs who do not have a known owner. Evaluation of these cases may identify cases of animal cruelty and since these examinations will have appropriate documentation, our findings will be able to be used in any criminal investigation that follows.

Unrestricted support of the greatest needs of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the discretion of the dean.

Support scholarship awards to graduate students studying in the College. First preference will be given to graduate students who were Bernie and Chris Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars (MFOS) as undergraduate students. If no MFOS students apply, then the second preference will be given to graduate students in the College who were first generation undergraduate students. If no students under the first or second preference apply, then the award may be granted to a graduate student in the College.
