Union County 4-H Endowment
Provides support to Union County 4-H youth who show excellence and community service within 4-H. If the spendable income is sufficient, it will also be used to provide two (2) annual scholarships for two (2) Union County 4-H youth to attend Camp Cherry Lake.
Ofelia Anzola Memorial Scholarship Endowment
Support an annual scholarship to a graduate student in the College who meets the following criteria: Enrolled full time; minimum overall GPA of 3.5; demonstrated leadership and extracurricular activities in the department, College, or University; interest in pursuing a career in agriculture or a related field. Preference shall be given to students in the Food and Resource Economics Department. International students, U.S. citizens, and students eligible to reside permanently in the U.S. are eligible to apply. Financial need may be considered but is not required.
Jimmy G. Cheek Graduate Student Medal of Excellence Fund
Support recognition of outstanding graduate students in the CALS; the awardee will be selected at the discretion of the dean of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and shall demonstrate high academic potential and achievement, leadership and community involvement, commitment and passion about his/her chosen field of study, personal sacrifice for his/her education and effort above and beyond the call of duty; award will be given annually with preference to students pursuing a PhD or DPM degrees.
