CGR Equal Rights Amendment Project

Spendable income restricted to the Fredric G. Levin College of Law and Environmental Law to subsidize, in part or in whole, scholarships, summer internships, conferences, guest lectures, debates, experiential learning and field programs, dedicated courses, a program director, tenure-track professors, faculty fellows, non-tenured professors or lecturers, and a full-scale environmental law center. All of the forgoing shall be for the protection of the environment..

Support need-based awards for students in 2nd or 3rd yr. of law school w/demonstrated interest in (1) representing injured workers in workers compensation proceedings, (2) domestic violence issues, (3) children's rights issues; if no such student available, then 2nd or 3rd yr. law student interested in labor or employment law on behalf of low income workers.

Support expenses associated with bringing Justices of the FL Supreme Court to the Levin College of Law to speak on topics relating to FL Constitutional Law, Elder Law, End of Life Issues or such other topics suggested by the Justice giving the lecture and/or presentation for the purpose of supporting the educational mission of the College; lectures and/or presentations will be arranged by the Dean of the College, or designee(s). Funds can be used to pay any related expenses associated with the lecture and/or presentation, including but not limited to travel/lodging, expenses for lecturer, reception costs or meals in connection with visit, publicizing, disseminating or publishing the lecture.
