Cocking Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund

Support research on any of several childhood genetic kidney diseases that consistently will lead to kidney failure before adulthood.

Develop an instrument that will be able to simultaneously detect both circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and circulating cancer cell-free DNA (cfDNA) from blood samples using a disposable microfluidic chip developed at and by the University of Florida. The grant request is to cover materials and equipment to develop and test the instrument prototype, facilities and personnel support associated with this project.
