Dr. Catherine Longstreth/Rockin' L Farms Research Fund Endowment

To support oncology research and all aspects of the treatment of small animals in the Oncology Department at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine's Small Animal Hospital.

$5,000 grant awarded to a rising 2nd or 3rd year student, pursuing research in Human-Animal Bond or Access to Care (6.6% fringe $693). Additional $1,500 travel stipend shall be provided for the summer research student to register and travel to a national symposium, such as the Merial-BI/NIH Symposium.

Support scholarship awards to students in the College of Veterinary Medicine; preference to students who graduate from public high schools in Okaloosa, Walton, Escambia, Santa Rosa and Bay counties.
