Edna L. Povey Scholarship
Support scholarships for the Dept of Speech; the chair is to be fund adm and will select student entering his/her jr or sr year as an undergraduate majoring in speech.
Sandra J. Edwards and Alfred B. Garcia Fund for Occupational Therapy
Support an annual colloquium with the Occupational Therapy (OT) Department in the College. The income may be used for all costs associated with the colloquium, including expenses of speakers or research, and curriculum consultants. The colloquium may include all OT alumni, faculty, and staff, and any others in the Health Science Center who are interested in attending.
Health Leaders Scholarship Fund
Support partial or full tuition scholarships for promising MHA applicants as determined by the Chair of the Dept of Health Services Research, Management and Policy with counsel from the MHA Program Director and other department faculty as appropriate. The scholarships would be offered for 2 yr. period with requirements for maintaining successful academic standing.
