Support teaching, research, academic programs and technology enhancements, including support for students and faculty, in the Dean's sole discretion.
Eckerd Pharmacy Scholarship Fund
Disburse the "spendable" funds derived each year from the income as follows:
1% of the 5% (i.e. 20% of the spendable amount distributed) to be used at the discretion of the Dean; 24% to be used for student travel to and participation in professional pharmacy
organization meetings (e.g. APhA, ASHP and the regional/state affiliated organizations); 56% to be used for pharmacy scholarships.
The Foundation Board of Directors also favors continuing to use the parameters set forth by Jack Eckerd "to aid worthy students through the College of Pharmacy." Please feel free to use Webster's Dictionary definition of worthy, which is honorable or meritorious to aid in the selection process.
