Purpose
$30,000 will be used to fund the new "Shirley M. Cowans Endowed Scholarship Fund" in the College of Education. The non-endowed Shirley M. Cowans Scholarship Fund (UFF Fund #019151) will be closed and the proceeds will be transferred to the Shirley M. Cowans Endowed Scholarship Fund.

Support a doctoral student pursuing a degree in counseling with a research focus on children with developmental, attachment, sensory, and/or trauma issues. Research related to adoptive families, including adopting internationally, is of particular interest.

Support the Higher Education Administration program at the College of Education, to be used at the Dean's Discretion.
Dr. Kenneth P. Kidd Endowment
Preferences: 1) support scholarship to PKY graduate entering UF with interest in teaching math; 2) support PKY to advance math education & research; 3) support scholarship for UF sr or grad student entering a math educ teaching internship at PKY.
