Support the activities of faculty holding the five new professorships made possible by this Gift; the Fixel scholars, the fellowships, or for purposes such as but not limited to startup costs and laboratory and office renovations. These dollars may also be used for research in the Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases.

Support an eminent scholar chair in the Dept of Psychiatry at the College of Medicine. The chair's teaching, research and academic activities will be associated with the Indian River County Academic Training and Mental Health Outpatient Clinic program and will oversee fellows in the program.

Support an annual lecturer within pediatrics who focuses on advocacy.
