Purpose
Support law student participation in activities that promote professionalism in the legal practice which may include attending seminars, bar or section meetings, lectures, bringing guest lecturers to UF, MPRE exam preparation/support, essay competitions or recognize outstanding achievements by students in this area.

This fund will be created by virtue of an estate gift. Once received, this fund shall be used to support law student participation in activities that promote professionalism in the legal practice which may include attending seminars, bar or section meetings, lectures, bringing guest lecturers to campus, MPRE exam preparation and support, essay competitions, and recognize outstanding achievements by students in this area.

E. Thom Rumberger Everglades Fellowship
Support assistantship awards to law students selected for their demonstrated excellence/commitment to study and research in the areas of environmental law and public policy, including water policy. Donor preference to include an educational focus in the area of federal environmental law. Awardees shall be selected by the Director of the Center for Governmental Responsibility (CGR), or his/her designees, through a competitive application process. Awardees shall be required to be research assistants w/research faculty or staff in CGR.

Purchase and maintenance of books and/or computers or other classroom or library technical teaching tools at the Levin College of Law.
