To be used at the discretion of the Department Chair of Chemistry at the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences to support projects endorsed by the Chemistry Leadership Board.

This fund was established in 2011 by a group of donors to support projects endorsed by the University of Florida’s Department of Chemistry Leadership Board.
The Department of Chemistry Leadership Board was established in the spring of 2011 to provide guidance and support for the Department’s continual drive for excellence. The board is made up of business, academic and community leaders.

The Dr. Joseph McClure Undergraduate Pre-health Program Fund
The Fund shall support the Pre-Health Program in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and its efforts to prepare undergraduate students for careers in medicine and other health professions. Funds may be used to expand pre-health courses and programming, and support experiential and service-learning opportunities that help students develop the knowledge, skills, compassion, empathy, and patient-centered perspective important to careers in healthcare. The Fund honors Dr. Joseph McClure and his example of skilled and compassionate, patient-centered care.
F. E. Putz Research Fund
Support research on tropical forest conservation.
DDCF Education Research
Support research related to DDCSP, including participant payments and personnel salary.
