Support the Department of Neurosurgery with a particular focus on supporting the work of the Co-Directors of the UF Center for Movement Disorders & Neurorestoration, but not limited to work involving only movement disorders.

Support child development at the Children's Hospital.

Support an annual Departmental research day to be known as the Allen and Elizabeth Shevach ObGyn Resident Research Day, which may include support of research projects by medical students, residents, and fellows, expenses of receptions, and travel expenses for participants to attend national meetings. The fund may also be used for annual awards, as determined by the Department Chair, to students, residents and fellows for outstanding performance and research projects. At the discretion of the Department Chair, a small portion of funds may be used to support mentorship by faculty of students, residents, and fellows performing research.
