Michael A. Fogarty graduated from UF in 1974 with a law degree. He was a partner in the Tampa law firm Glenn, Rasmussen and Fogarty at the time of his death. This scholarship was provided by family, friends and colleagues in memory of Fogart

Fay/Hodges Advocacy Program
UF Law has developed an umbrella advocacy program inspired by the impact of two Gator legal luminaries, Judge Peter T. Fay and Judge William Terrell Hodges, who both served 50 years as federal judges. The Fay/Hodges Advocacy Program will: Provide increased curricular and co-curricular offerings to UF Law students interest in trail, appellate and mediation/arbitration work; bring high-profile speakers to campus for advocacy-focused lectures; promote experiential learning enhancements and professional development; and increase support for all of UF Law's competetion teams.
