Diabetes Research in Pediatrics

Spendable income of the Fund shall be used to provide awards to 3 or 4 third-year Biomedical Sciences graduate students who have completed their qualifying examinations over the current academic year. A panel of Biomedical Sciences faculty members will determine the award recipients. Fund Purpose Contingency: If no award is made in any given year, then for that year, the fund administrator may direct the spendable income to the UF Medical Guild Graduate Research Award for Biomedical Science Interdisciplinary Programs (F025189).

To support pediatric brain tumor research with a preference for research that potentially benefits the cerebellar ependymoma population.

To support research in Pick's Disease.
