Support Equine Studies and Research.

Support scholarship to students pursuing career in animal related profession; not based on academic merit alone.

Spendable income to support the Purina Chair, restricted to the College of Veterinary Medicine, Dermatology, to support the work in Dermatology such as that currently being done by Dr. Domenico Santoro. The recipient shall be selected and appointed in accordance with University policies and hold the rank required for the position by the University, and expenditures shall comply with University and Foundation requirements. Fund Purpose Contingency: In the event that the work referred to above is no longer being performed and Dr. Domenico Santoro is no longer affiliated with the University, the spendable income for the chair shall be redirected to support the work of another qualified individual within the College of Veterinary Medicine, Dermatology. The recipient shall be selected and appointed in accordance with University policies and hold the rank required for the position by the University. Expenditures shall comply with College of Veterinary Medicine, Dermatology, the funds may be used to support a similar purpose that aligns with the original intent of the fund, as determined by the University and Foundation.
