Forensic Science Program

Scholarship support of eligible Masters students enrolled in the Master of Science programs, with preference given to those enrolled in distance education MS degree programs and particularly the Forensic Science, Clinical Toxicology, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry programs.

Support two graduate students in the Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy at UF with at least one working in conjunction with the Center for Medicaid; focus will be analytical research, education, and training in the areas of integrated, coordinated care models/technologies to promote patient-centered, quality driven healthcare solutions.

'- Recipients for the 2002-03 school year will be in their third year of the pharmacy program; one student will be selected from each of the metropolitan areas of Jacksonville, Tampa Bay and Orlando. - Parmerica will make $9000 gift to UF Foundation for three (3) $3000 scholarships. Full amount to be sent prior to 7/31/02, will also provide information about Pharmerica for students to learn about the organization and the Long Term Care Industry. - Students interested in the scholarship should meet the following criteria: 1) current satisfactory academic standing with the pharmacy school; 2) known financial necessity; 3) interest in Pharmeric/Long Term Care industry, interest should be expressed in written essay format (1-2 pages); 4) Pharmeria would prefer Dr. Michael McKEenzie to present three candidates for each location. Bob Pruneau and/or John Flayter will then advise on the recipient for each location. - Upon selecting the recipient, Pharmerica will notify the recipient and send a formal 'Congratulations' letter to each
