Larry and Elaine Goodrich established this endowment in 2002 in honor of their children, Lauren and Jordan Goodrich, to support the University of Florida’s Opportunity Alliance Program. Developed in response to a challenge from Governor Jeb Bush to improve educational opportunities in Florida, the program enables UF to forge strategic partnerships with Florida high schools that have high drop-out rates and low numbers of college-bound students.
Both Lauren and Jordan are current students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
