This fund was established in 1997 by Gerold L. Schiebler, M.D., professor emeritus of pediatric medicine, and a Distinguished Service professor of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida. It honors the memory of Henry Albert Kokomoor and supports an annual award to pediatric housestaff and fellows.
Henry was born in 1955. He earned a bachelor’s in chemistry from the University of Florida in 1977. He passed away in May of the same year. Henry was a dear friend of the Schiebler family.
