Equine Facility Fund

Support scholarships for DVM students; scholarships are intended to encourage and support students who have demonstrated capacity to achieve educational and professional goals, the motivation to achieve these goals and the initiative to seek opportunities to further their progress in this course of studies; awarded annually to one or more students at any level of their professional DVM degree program studies and may be renewable; preference to students with demonstrated financial need.

Support teaching and academic programs to benefit animal welfare initiatives in the State of Florida.

$5,000 grant awarded to a rising 2nd or 3rd year student, pursuing research in Human-Animal Bond or Access to Care (6.6% fringe $693). Additional $1,500 travel stipend shall be provided for the summer research student to register and travel to a national symposium, such as the Merial-BI/NIH Symposium.
