Retired engineer and geophysicist Leroy Paslay created this fund to promote student excellence in the College of Engineering. A Kansas State University alumnus, Paslay founded several engineering and oceanography companies related to off-shore oil exploration in the United States, the Caribbean and South America. He and his wife, Aileen Hull Paslay, donated a Jade collection to the Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art in 198
