Allison Elizabeth Boor Memorial Scholarship
The Gift shall be used to support a need-based scholarship for a graduate student in the College of Nursing, whose undergraduate degree was from the University of Florida sustaining an overall 4-year GPA of 3.0 or higher and whose aim is to become a Nurse Practitioner or similar certified status in Nursing of Health Care where graduate degree is required. The candidate must have demonstrated self-determination, courage and competitive spirit in the face of personal adversity, compassion and caring for others, and the scholarship will have a significant impact on the student's ability to proceed further with education and study. The Donors' preference is for a student who has Type -I Diabetes or another auto-immune related affliction.
Bayard and Arthur Fawcett Scholarship Fund for Nursing Excellence
Support annual scholarship for students in Nursing; for tuition, books, supplies, living expenses; recipient will continue to get funding if he/she demonstrates superior performance with GPA 3.33 or higher. Annual award shall be divided among two undergraduate students and one graduate student. The three members of the Fawcett Scholarship Fund, Inc., shall serve as honorary advisors to the Dean of the College of Nursing and shall be informed of candidates under consideration for Fawcett scholar awards. These advisors are: Mr. Ted Parker, Port Charlotte, Florida; Mrs. Anna Koening, Jacksonville, Florida; and Barbara Rustige, Port Charlotte, Florida. These individuals will serve in an honorary advisory capacity to the dean for a period of five (5) years and will not be replaced once that time period has elapsed or should any member resigning prior to the end of the five year period. Suitable candidates will be sought first from the Charlotte County area of the state of Florida. If suitable candidates cannot be found, then other candidates will be sought from areas outside of Charlotte County within the state of Florida.

Support scholarship and fellowship awards to students in the College of Nursing to pursue graduate study in the College.
Carol Vogel Nursing Scholarship
Provide scholarships to needy students who are obtaining a graduate level degree in the field of mental health nursing.

Dixie V. Bayer Nursing Fund
Support scholarship and fellowship awards to nursing students and other teaching, research, and program needs in the College of Nursing.
Dora Montebell Colaizzi Memorial Scholarship/Fellowship
Support need-based undergraduate scholarship or graduate fellowship awards to students in the University of Florida College of Nursing.
Dorothy M. Smith Scholarship/Fellowship
Support undergraduate or graduate students from low income families or with other special financial need as determined by the College Administration, studying in the College of Nursing. Recipients must maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA to be eligible for a renewal of the scholarship or fellowship support.
Dr. Cappy Archibald Longstreth/Alex and Mary Frances Archibald Geriatric Psychiatric Nursing Fund
Support graduate level students studying in the area of geriatric psychiatric care and for academic program support related to geriatric psychiatric nursing at the College of Nursing. In the event there are no qualified recipients for the primary purpose (geriatric psychiatric care or academic program), funds can be awarded to a graduate level student interested in geriatrics and/or general psych mental health.
Dr. Martha "Jo" Snider Fellowship Fund
Support fellowships for students pursuing graduate degrees in the area of psychiatric nursing at College of Nursing; may be awarded annually to same student for remainder of coursework; if psychiatric nursing ceases to exist at UF, preference shall be given to undergraduate with strong interest in psychiatric nursing; if /when fund reaches $600K, the Dean of the College of Nursing, in his/her sole discretion, will have the option to use spendable income for fellowships or an endowed faculty position.
Ellen Granberg Eells Excellence Scholarship Fund in Nursing
Support need-based scholarship awards to undergraduate students in the College of Nursing. Recipients are chosen with preference in the following order: (1) residents of Brevard County, or those with recommendation from UF Alumni in the county; (2) residents of Suwanee County, or those with recommendation from UF Alumni in the county.
Emanuel and Raidie P. Merdinger Scholarship Fund
Support scholarships to worthy and needy students in Nursing; limited to those pursuing careers in nursing and related skills.

Establish and support a chair to support excellence in nursing research in the College.

Support professorship in College of Nursing with an emphasis on issues that affect aging.
R. Murray and Annabel Davis Jenks Endowed Professorship in Nursing Excellence
GA: support professorship in Nursing.
Thomas M. and Irene B. Kirbo Endowed Chair
Support a chair in the College of Nursing with a focus on cancer care; including prevention and/or treatment. This is the preference of the Donor. If a suitable candidate is unable to be located for this purpose, however, the position may be filled with a faculty member in another relevant field of interest, at the Dean's discretion.

Support yearly lecturer.
Nursing Faculty Development Fund
Support for faculty development activities deemed appropriate by the Dean, including periodic lectureships and conferences at the College of Nursing.
Rita Kobb Nursing Informatics and Technology Lectureship Fund
Support cost of travel, speaker fees, honorariums and miscellaneous expenses associated with hosting leaders in nursing informatics.
