Purpose
Support a fellowship to a student in the Dept. of Health Services Research, Management and Policy within the College pursuing a master's degree in health administration. Scholarship will be awarded to a deserving MHA student or applicant as determined by the dept. chair/MHA program director in their discretion, with input from other department faculty as the chair and director deem appropriate. These fellowship funds but not limited to, tuition, fees, books, room and board, travel equipment purchases conferences and research expenses.

This fund was established by Marsha Powers in 2013 to support a fellowship to a student in the Department of Health Services Research, Management and Policy within the College of Public Health and Health Professions pursuing a master’s degree in health administration at the University of Florida.
Marsha earned a bachelor’s degree in biology at Sweet Briar College in Virginia, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida in 197
