The Fran Marino Scholarship
Non-endowed fund for scholarships restricted to the College of Veterinary Medicine for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) students who were the first in their family to attend college and who demonstrate financial need. Recipients must remain in good academic standing; any student who fail a course or clinical rotation will forfeit eligibility for the scholarship. If no student meets the first-generation criterion, the scholarship may be awarded based on financial need.
Calder Race Course Scholarship
Support scholarship awards to DVM students entering their senior year who demonstrate excellence in knowledge and treatment of the horse; with preference to students working in the horse race industry.
HAARTS Fund - Helping Alachua's Animals Requiring Treatment and Surgery Fund
Support the HAARTS program at UF: provides for the treatment and surgery of animals from shelters or rescue groups in Alachua County.
