Boonstra Family Research Fellowship
Support research grant(s) to outstanding graduate student(s) pursuing thesis or pre-dissertation research in Latin American or the Spanish-speaking Caribbean; consideration shall be given but not limited to fields of agriculture, food/resource economics, forestry, natural resource management, environmental engineering, law, political science & contemporary music/art; awarded thru Ctr for Latin American Studies Graduate Student Summer Field Research.
Safa Graduate Student Travel Endowment
Support graduate students' travel expenses to attend the Latin American Studies Association (LASA) Congress; priority as follows: students pursuing Masters or graduate certificate in Latin American Studies, students presenting papers on Latin American-related themes; any excess after travel awards may be used for travel expenses to Latin American Studies-related professional meetings or travel to undertake graduate research; all awards shall be determined by a faculty committee appointed by the Director of Latin American Studies.

Support scholarships to students in the field of Latin American Studies who have excelled in academics, demonstrated leadership skills, and who are preparing for a career related to Latin American affairs.
