Purpose
Support DVM students at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Criteria: Annual scholarship presented to a senior DM student; recipient will have clearly demonstrated his/her desire to enter a career past in equine healthcare; must be regarded as having high ethical standards, solid communication skills, and a strong desire to serve the needs of both people and horses; must be a student member of FAEP; must have a demonstrated financial need.

Michael M. Garner Veterinary Pathology Scholarship
Presented to the 2nd year student who has demonstrated interest in veterinary pathology and who has good or high academic performance in the second-year pathology courses (VEM 5161 and VEM 5162). Plaque and $500 presented at the Coating ceremony. Selection of the awardee is by pathology teaching faculty.
Phylis L. Raynor Memorial Scholarship
Support annual scholarship for DVM students in 3rd year of the DVM program who demonstrate financial need and an interest in wildlife veterinary medicine with specific interest in raptors and/or tortoises.
