McGinley Family Teaching Pavilion Fund

Annual Endowed Graduate Scholarships restricted to Institute of Food & Agricultural Sciences. Additional Criteria: Studying Microbiology, preferably planning a career in Public Health. (Pre-Endowment)

The Fund shall be used for the Center for Aquatic and Invasive Plants to support (a) extension activities related to aquatic plant management for aquatic pesticide regulators, government agencies, and the public and (b) students working with faculty affiliated with the Center for Aquatic and Invasive Plants who are researching aquatic weed or algae control using pesticides. Once every 2 years, the UF/IFAS fund administrator may request that $100,000 from the Fund's principal be moved to the Fund's spendable, in his or her sole discretion, until no amount remains in the principal. The Donor's preference is that no more than an average of $50,000 (calculated over a 5-year period) be spent annually from the spendable.
