This fund was established in 2006 by Jack L. Pappas in memory if his grandson, Christopher Ziess.
Zeiss was an honors student and college senior majoring in business administration at the University of Florida. He was also an intern at Merrill Lynch in preparation for a career as a stock broker. Zeiss graduated from Tarpon Springs High School in 1999, where he played football. He was a straight-A student and a member of Delta Phi Theta fraternity at UF.
