Basic RS/Eye Disease

The purpose of this fund is to provide training for students and early career scientists in the field of Alzheimer's Disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. This funding will help equip a new generation of scientists with the knowledge and skills necessary to advance our understanding of memory loss diseases and develop innovative treatments.

The Sandelman Endowment shall be used exclusively to recognize outstanding scientific achievement and accomplishment in establishing, fostering, and encouraging research in the field of science by providing: (i) financial assistance to persons engaged in pursuits on TSRI's FL campus, and (ii) for the purchase of necessary apparatus, books, equipment or supplies for the same, and/or for related support expenses, or by making grants to other established colleges, schools or foundations engaged in such undertaking, all the foregoing being within the Donor's purpose.
