This fund honors Robert C. “Bob” and Margaret “Peggy” Rothman and was established in 2003. Bob Rothman received a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in finance from the University of Chicago. He is chairman and CEO of the Black Diamond Group, Inc. in Tampa and a stake owner in the Washington Redskins.

Hager, Wilson and Geiser Math Education Endowment Fund
Approx. 2/3 to support one or more lecturers annually in the Mathematics Dept; speakers for the lectures should be chosen by a committee selected by the Math Dept Chair; annually the Math Dept Chair should rotate the members of the selection committee and their fields of research; should be a balance between the numbers of lectures in fields of Pure Mathematics and Applies Mathematics; approx. 1/3 will support UFTeach.
V. T. and Louise Jackson Chemistry Endowment
To support the following 1) at least 35% for Jackson Professorship in Chem, 2) at least 8% for Jackson Term Professorship in Chem, 3) at least 8-20% for Fellowship in Chem, & 4) at least 6-10% for Lectureship in Chem for physical or Organic Chem, 5)up to 10% shall be used to support instructional/research enhancements in Dept. Chem. Any remaining funds may be used, as needed, for any reason of the above-designated purpose.
James Haskins Visiting Scholar Fellowship Endowment Fund
Support research and teaching by emerging and established scholars who seek opportunities to conduct research and collaborate with African American Studies faculty.
