Catheter Ablation

Develop an instrument that will be able to simultaneously detect both circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and circulating cancer cell-free DNA (cfDNA) from blood samples using a disposable microfluidic chip developed at and by the University of Florida. The grant request is to cover materials and equipment to develop and test the instrument prototype, facilities and personnel support associated with this project.

To support pediatric cancer research.

Support a scholarship for a medical student who has overcome significant adversity before applying to medical school. Scholarship shall be renewable for the student's full time in medical school.
