Support scholarship awards using academic merit as the main criteria; leadership, civic, volunteer, musical, athletic or other special talents and activities by the candidate will be strongly considered.
Andrew A. Sorensen MFOS Endowment
Support scholarships for the Bernie and Chris Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program with preference for students who graduated from a high school in Alachua County, Florida. If the FOS program ceases to exist at UF, then the income shall be used to support scholarship awards to first generation students from low income families in Florida.
