Support need-based fellowships for graduate students in the College LEASE NOTE - GA completed for estate plan attached, along with an updated NOREC. A proposal to the donor of $14,000 over 5 years is planned for the donor. Donor (Susan L. Young - 0002734970) now opening non-endowed fund to begin supporting scholarships prior to opening of endowed fund through estate giving. Once estate plan is processed in the future, then this non-endowed fund will be closed and the balance transferred to a new endowed fund.

Support graduate level students studying in the area of geriatric psychiatric care and for academic program support related to geriatric psychiatric nursing at the College of Nursing. In the event there are no qualified recipients for the primary purpose (geriatric psychiatric care or academic program), funds can be awarded to a graduate level student interested in geriatrics and/or general psych mental health.

Provide undergraduate and graduate scholarships to nursing students, according to the following schedule: Year 1 - $8,000 ($2,000 each to two Bachelors of Science juniors or accelerated BSN students; $2,000 each to two Doctor of Nursing Practice students). Year 2 through Year 5 - $16,000 ($2,000 each to two Bachelors of Science seniors or accelerated BSN students; $2,000 each to two Doctor of Nursing Practice students for second year (these will be the same students who received support for year one); $2,000 each to two newly selected Bachelors of Science juniors or accelerated BSN students; $2,000 each to two newly selected Doctor of Nursing Practice students).
