Stephen Futch Extension Horticultural Scholarship
Support scholarships to Horticultural Science students who have at least a 3.0 GPA and have graduated from an accredited public or private high school in Florida; preferably from one of the following counties: Indian River, Hardee, DeSoto, Manatee, Sarasota, Polk or Pasco. The Horticultural Sciences Department Scholarship Committee will be assigned the task of selecting the scholarship awardee.

Support award to PhD student in Agricultural and Biological Engineering who is working on modeling and analysis of agricultural systems and natural resources; recipients of this scholarship should be selected on the basis of 1) scholarship, 2) leadership in the university/community, 3) dedication to his/her career, 4) high quality research related to sustainable management of agricultural and natural resources.
