Florida Workers' Compensation Institute, Inc. Scholarship

Support a series of annual lectures by prominent scholars on the status and enforcement of antitrust policy, particularly with respect to anti-competitive practices; donor's wish is to support generally 2 lectures annually, preferably in Feb and Oct, but with administrative flexibility as to frequency and timing depending upon speaker availability and cost per lecture; to insure adequate funding, Public Policy Center in Warrington College of Business Administration agrees to permanently co-sponsor the lecture series and provide funding for 1/2 the honoraria and other incidental costs associated with the lectures series. Donor requests that responsibility for selecting invited scholars and arranging annual lectures be institutionalized and shared by the Director of the Public Policy Research Center in Warrington College of Business and the Dean of the Levin College of Law, or their designees. In addition, there will be an annual advisory committee, which shall include the donor, to assist in process of selecting and securing speakers. Each announcement of invited lectures should include a brief biography of Mr. Heath and his lifetime commitment to enforcement of antitrust statutes.

Support teaching, research, technology enhancements, and academic programs in the Levin College of Law at the dean's discretion.

Support an Eminent Scholar Chair at the Levin College of Law. It is the Donor's preference that the faculty member appointed to the Chair would work in one or more of the following subject areas; constitutional law; professional responsibility; the legal profession, including its history, culture and values; environmental or land use planning law; legal process; or other similarly titled areas.
