Sung Endowment
The spendable income from the Fund shall primarily be used to initiate and continue research programs to support and increase the supply of food and nutrition, particularly to the regions where there is greatest need. Secondarily, the income may also be used to support scholarships to undergraduate juniors and seniors and to graduate students pursuing degrees in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences working in the fields of food science, human or animal nutrition, and food and resource economics. The scholarship is to be awarded based on financial need and on academic merit, professional potential, and leadership ability.
Advanced Packaging Sustainability Research Fund
Supports research at UF/IFAS in advanced recycling, packaging sustainability and the handling of waste with the long-term goal of creating a center of excellence for advanced recycling at the University of Florida.
Florida Rare and Endemic Plant Species Conservation and Research Fund
Support research, extension, and conservation efforts of rare and endemic plant species of Florida.
