Jerry and Lola Collins Eminent Scholar Chair in Veterinary Medicine

Support a CVM student researcher participating in the Florida veterinary Scholars Program. 1) Research is restricted to canine or feline. 2) FVMA will receive recognition within the college, in publications and at the national conference. 3) The student shall be recognized as "The FVMA Research Scholar." 4) The FVMA logo will appear on all poster and podium presentations, including at the National Veterinary Scholars Symposium, and 5) The FVMA will receive credit in any publications.

Non-endowed fund for scholarships restricted to the College of Veterinary Medicine for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) students who were the first in their family to attend college and who demonstrate financial need. Recipients must remain in good academic standing; any student who fail a course or clinical rotation will forfeit eligibility for the scholarship. If no student meets the first-generation criterion, the scholarship may be awarded based on financial need.

Support scholarships in the College of Veterinary Medicine; preference given to a student who graduated from a Florida High School with an interest in purebred dogs and canine medicine with a strong commitment to veterinary medicine.
