UF Health Jacksonville Trauma Equipment Fund

To support a lab in the psychiatry department at the College of Medicine-Jacksonville with a focus on behavioral endocrinology. Funding would help cover faculty and/or laboratory staff salaries, materials, or other incidentals necessary to allow collaborative research to be conducted by the psychiatry department in the context of mental health and trauma.

Support a professorship in the Dept of Surgery in transplantation at the College of Medicine-Jacksonville; if after the pledge period, the endowment has not reached $600,000, the gifts received shall be redesignated to endow the Methodist Medical Center Endowment to be used to support teaching, research and academic programs in transplantation in the Dept of Surgery, College of Medicine Jax, including but not limited to faculty and student support.

To establish and maintain a program at UF Health Jacksonville to diagnose, treat and provide rehabilitation to community patients and veterans suffering from traumatic brain injuries (TBI) to improve health outcomes and quality of life. Funds to support salaries/benefits, marketing, outreach efforts, patient support, therapies, capital and program operations.
