Bealls Department Stores established this endowment to provide fellowships for marketing and accounting students. In 1994, Chairman Egbert R. Beall, a UF alumnus, retired and turned the management of the company over to his son, Robert M. Beall II, also a UF alumnus. Today the chain has 85 department stores in Florida and 437 outlet stores across the southern United State
